Parent-listed Motus daily IDs are deltas only; v1 uses All-With-History snapshots

Role classification

Broker — Broker of Property / Household Goods → trucking-broker + fmcsa-broker
Freight forwarder — surface FF OA → freight-forwarder (not FMC ocean OTI)
Carrier — Motor Carrier / MX / Enterprise OA → fmcsa-carrier + motor-carrier
Dual-role — both broker/FF and carrier OA on one USDOT → one profile, both vertical sets

Stable IDs & slugs

Ids prefer fmcsa-mc{n} / fmcsa-ff{n} / fmcsa-mx{n} / fmcsa-usdot-{dot}. Slugs are {name}-{id-suffix} so they stay unique under brokers_slug_uidx.

What we do not invent

No ratings, no SAFER scrape-at-scale, no implied FMCSA endorsement. Insurance fields are Motus filings summaries only.
