The chain

Eight categories cover transport, finance, lending, insurance, real estate, energy, marine and aviation, and specialty. Each category search is /search/?cat=.

A vertical hub such as trucking broker or forex broker is the page that defines the desk type and lists indexed firms. A firm URL is /brokers/{name}-{authority}/.

Why the silo exists

A searcher who wants a customs broker should not land on a motor-carrier page. Carriers are tagged fmcsa-carrier and motor-carrier, not as brokers.

Guides explain the source. Hubs list the firms. Profiles hold the license line. That split keeps thin doorway URLs out of the index.
